TAMARO for museums
An audio guide you can talk to
It answers questions by voice or as text, actively guides visitors through the exhibition, draws them in and asks questions of its own.
Without a guided tour, questions go unanswered
Visitors have questions about what they see. A guided tour can answer them, but one is not available on every visit. Text panels and classic audio guides only explain what was decided in advance; there is no way to ask a follow-up question.
Without a tour, visitors take less away from their visit, and the museum reaches its audience less than it could.
Narrator, exhibit, historical figure
The companion speaks in different roles: as a narrator, as the exhibit itself or as a historical figure. Its personality and emotional range adapt to each visitor, from children to specialists.
Narrator
Guides through the exhibition and puts things in context.
The exhibit itself
Tells its story from its own point of view.
Historical figure
Speaks as a person from the exhibit's time.
New formats from your content
Your content becomes new formats: AI-generated audio stories and shows around your exhibits, approved by your editorial team.
Answers to recurring questions
The companion answers recurring questions about directions, hours and services, and explains content in plain language.
Several languages, no new recordings
The companion answers in several languages. When your editorial team changes content, the change applies with no new recordings.
Your editorial team stays in control
The companion draws on content your editorial team has approved. Generated stories go through your editorial team before they are published.
Complements tours, runs on any smartphone
Complement, not replace
The companion complements guided tours and education programs; it does not replace them.
No device fleet
The companion runs as a web app in the browser on visitors' own smartphones, with nothing to install; loaner devices are optional.
In the cloud or in the museum
Hosting in the EU or on site, with the same software.
We are looking for pilot museums to try TAMARO out with us
